A way to relax from work in a healthy way.

I needed a way to relax from work in a healthy way. I feel that not only do I obtain relaxation but also I feel there are other health benefits from Thai massage such as improved mood, flexibility and overall sense of wellbeing. From the very first visit I could feel a difference. The Combination massage and the Foot massage are my favorites because I feel relaxed but also invigorated at the same time.

The practitioners at Chaan Thai are very kind and caring people, you feel very welcomed upon arriving. You are in good hands at Chaan. Each time I have a treatment I feel calmed, better able to deal with the external stresses at work. After I get a maasge I can always count on increased energy level and ability to deal with everyday life stress.

I can't see myself going anywhere else

I normally don't take the time to write reviews - good or bad, however in this case I'm making an exception. Chaan Spa is without a doubt the most professional establishment for massage therapy that I personally have had the pleasure of experiencing. An extremely friendly staff, very clean rooms and well trained personnel make this a first class spa. The small things make an impression as well, like the hot tea you're served before and after your session as well as the relaxing foot wash, both of which are complimentary. The massage sessions are wonderful and very thorough. The therapists are very much in tune with the different techniques they administer. I can't see myself going anywhere else.

I would like to highly recommend Chaan Thai Yoga Therapy. I have become a big fan of theirs, and I am now going every other week for my Thai massage. At first, I was hesitant to have a male practitioner. Then I learned that during a true Thai massage, one is fully clothed. A Thai massage is completely non-sexual The procedure involves several yoga moves and stretching by the practitioner. I always ask for one of the men, Nid, to work on me. I am a large, strong male, and I wanted to be sure I was working with someone strong enough to give me a great massage. Nid is the one. He is very strong, and very knowledgeable about movement and muscle. I am completely hooked. I leave the session feeling great, and already looking forward to my next appointment.
