Blue Nectar Yoga is a down-to-earth yoga studio and boutique in the heart of Falls Church, Virginia. We offer a wide variety of classes rooted in vinyasa flow and traditional hatha yoga styles. Our aim is to make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in the door. We also strive to provide challenging and inspirational classes that invigorate both mind and body. Our “Bluetique” features some of our favorite yoga lifestyle items from Jade, Manduka, Zum, and more – the essentials for every yogi.

The sweetest thing? Blue Nectar Yoga is locally owned and operated. Top notch customer service is our primary goal, and we are committed to supporting the local Falls Church community however we can. Our Name:

“Blue Nectar” embodies our vision. Blue is the coolest, most soothing of colors – representing the sky, ocean, twilight, and heaven. It is the color of inspiration and sincerity. The energy of the color allows for perspective – the ability to look beyond and outward. Blue counters chaos and agitation and allows for clear communication and feelings of peace. And the word “nectar”? A sweet, life-giving blend. The juice within. We love it, and we believe you will too.

Manifesto:

We believe in the power of one, but think two is more fun. We believe that love conquers all. We prefer wide open spaces and cozy places. We believe in somewhere over the rainbow. We think that when all else fails, eat dessert. We believe in giving credit where credit is due. We are certain you cannot hug with nuclear arms. We consider that the Hokie Pokie is right, and agree that’s what it’s all about. We know that where you find something is always the last place you look. We believe some yoga is better than no yoga and lots of yoga is best. We think laughter is the best response to the word duty. We believe that nuts have no business being inside of a brownie. We prefer tasteful tattoos over untouched skin. We think birth is a miracle and life is a gift. We know the power of word of mouth trumps all. We believe people come first and everything else comes second. We know that Taurus the Bull takes no bull. We think working it out is the best way to work it out. We believe if you get up on the wrong side of the bed, get back in. We believe in clapping along if you feel like a room without a roof. We think animals are people too.
